Makayla Moeschet

Makayla Moeschet is a 2025 graduate of Western Carolina University, where she earned her degree in Interior Design. During her time at WCU, she developed a passion for creating spaces that not only look beautiful but also function seamlessly for the people who use them.

In the summer of 2024, Makayla completed her internship with PastForward Design, LLC, where she worked closely with the team on both residential and commercial projects. Her contributions included drafting detailed construction documents, assisting with material selections, and collaborating on design presentations. Through this hands-on experience, she honed her skills in space planning, design development, and client communication.

Since graduating in May, Makayla continues to build on her design expertise with a strong focus on creating meaningful, people-centered spaces. She loves seeing the positive impact thoughtful design can have on everyday life, and she brings that passion and dedication to every project she works on.
