With a background in emergency medicine, I bring a unique perspective to historic preservation and adaptive reuse—one rooted in care, precision, and community. My work bridges technical expertise with a deep respect for heritage, breathing new life into aging structures through thoughtful design, sustainable practices, and a commitment to honoring the past while building for the future.
Beginning as a paramedic in North Carolina, I spent years navigating emergency situations with precision and compassion, developing a deep appreciation for the communities I served. This experience instilled a strong sense of stewardship—an understanding that places, like people, carry history, and that preservation is a form of care.
Driven by a passion for architecture, heritage, & design, I transitioned into historic preservation and adaptive reuse design, combining technical expertise with a deep respect for the past. Through meticulous research, thoughtful planning, and sustainable practices, I work to breathe new life into historic structures, ensuring they remain functional, meaningful, and enduring.
From restoring century-old buildings to reimagining forgotten spaces, I approach every project with the same dedication once applied to emergency response—assessing, protecting, and reviving with care. Whether safeguarding historic landmarks or transforming aging structures into vibrant modern spaces, my mission is clear: to honor the past while designing for the future.
